The Field Trip exhibition
The EAS "Field Trip" program is being exhibited at the "Open Solitude" event on Friday, June 27, 2025 at the international artist residency Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany.

"Field Trip" is a transdisciplinary residency program by Akademie Schloss Solitude’s art, science & business program and the Department for the Ecology of Animal Societies at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior.

Since 2022, the unique program offers artists the opportunity to engage with researchers at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior, to explore new environments, share knowledge, and collaborate across disciplines. Each year, a researcher from the Department for the Ecology of Animal Societies also joins the Akademie as a continuation of the artistic-scientific exchange.

The exhibition at "Open Solitude" on June 27 features works by all "Field Trip" fellows, including sound pieces, wildlife explorations, and reflections on human-animal relations—from Konstanz labs to sanctuaries in Rajasthan.

With works by Vivek Hari Sridhar, Eduardo Noya Schreus, Helene Sommer, Hemal Naik, Simar Preet Kaur, Yashas Shetty, and Mounir Saeed.
