Having some background in computer science, collective behaviour and navigation strategies of fish, and environmental risk assessment, now I am zooming into this small world, hoping to understand what the worms are trying to do with their life individually and collectively. Using video analyses and other mathematical modeling, I am trying to put into precise terms the seemingly non-trivial behavior of these creatures.
