Human-wildlife interaction in India

My talk would focus on work studying the impact of anthropogenic disturbances on the distribution of large mammalian wildlife. This talk will share insights on human-wildlife interactions and the preventive measures carried out to reduce losses perceived by locals in southern India through negative human-wildlife interactions. This talk also addresses spatial determinants of how large mammal populations can indicate the condition of the ecosystems for conservation planning and management in southern India.
