The conversation “Living in the Interstitium,” which was initiated by researcher Vivek Hari Sridhar as part of the Winterfest at Akademie Schloss Solitude in December 2023, reflected on the collaboration between art and science through the interstitium – a recently discovered tissue in the human body that connects blood vessels, nerves and organs. Together with artists from various disciplines and researchers from the Max Planck Institute, the discussion was an invitation to think about the different ways of working at the intersection of arts and sciences.
