The goal of Bonobo Alive is to give a future to the bonobos and their habitat in the southwestern part of the Salonga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo. To achieve its goals, Bonobo Alive has initiated an alliance with villagers and conservation organisations. The association promotes initiatives to protect the target species, its natural forest habitat, and other endangered species, living in the same habitat.

Center for Research and Conservation

The Centre for Research and Conservation is associated with the Antwerp zoo. Today, CRC is among the most advanced zoological research centres worldwide. It aims on captive breeding programs, nature conservation and animal welfare.
