My research focuses on determining how birds use visual and vocal information to coordinate group movement and maintain flock cohesion.

Curriculum Vitae

I earned a BA in Language from Kenyon College, followed by a BSc from The University of Montana. After completing my undergraduate degrees, I obtained my PhD at the University of St Andrews. I then went on to spend a short time as a postdoc studying sociable weavers with Drs Rita Covas, Claire Doutrelant, and Fanny Rybak, before starting my current position as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Max Plank Institute for Ornithology
