Dr. Kristaps Sokolovskis

The wonder of bird migration is what fascinates me the most as a biologist. In the past, I have greatly enjoyed studying breeding biology and genetic basis of migration in Willow Warblers. I still love Willow Warblers very much however time has come to explore another study system. For foreseeable future I will work with Song Thrushes and investigate role of individual's prior experience in shaping the migratory phenotype.
