I am currently working on my thesis project focusing on the migratory patterns and population dynamics of straw-coloured fruit bats in Kasanka National Park, Zambia.

My project aims to improve the existing deep learning method for accurately counting the bat population using a camera system positioned around the colony. By enhancing this method, we hope to gain a better understanding of the bat population's behavior and contribute to the conservation efforts in the region. I am thrilled to be involved in this research project and look forward to working with Dina’s team.
