Dr. Imran Razik
Main Focus
I'm a behavioral ecologist and science communicator interested in the behavior of group-living animals. For my PhD, I studied the determinants of social bonding in the common vampire bat at The Ohio State University and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Through this work, I learned how to communicate nuanced animal behavior research to general audiences of all ages and backgrounds. I use data visualization, design, and science interpretation principles to make research engaging, accessible, and fun.
