Main Focus

I have been interested in animal behavior since I started studying biology. Social interactions and the behavior of animals in groups are particularly fascinating to me. In my masterthesis I will investigate the behavior of the bat Molossus molossus in Panama, where females live in stable social groups. My project focuses on the effects of various stages in their life cycle, such as lactation, pregnancy or fledging as well as environmental conditions on their foraging efficiency.
