Main Focus
I use a variety of biologging tools to quantify fine-scale animal behavior, movement and energetics in a range of species. Using these tools, I previously studied the effects of anthropogenic disturbances on wildlife and animal foraging ecology. Currently, I investigate the potential for using biologgers as source of atmospheric observations for numerical weather prediction models in a collaboration with the German Meteorological Service.
