Main Focus

I am a tropical ecologist, especially interested in primate conservation and ecology and human-wildlife coexistence. In my current project, I will use camera traps and acoustic devices to investigate the effects of traditional hunting on the density, species occupancy and movement patterns of mammal communities, bonobos in particular, in the buffer zone of Salonga National Park (DRC), integrating hunters in the ecological landscape.
