Dr. Chase L. Núñez
PostdocMain Focus
I study the ecology and evolution of plant-animal interactions on our rapidly changing planet.
My research focuses on how the composition and function of plant communities are responding to changing environments, and the strategies animal collectives employ to abide by emergent variability in plant resources.
Careful modeling of these processes at ecologically relevant scales has catalyzed new methods of collecting, integrating, and cohesively modeling the heterogeneous data that make up complex systems.
