DESCRIPTION: Several opportunistic species have become increasingly reliant
  on anthropogenic food subsidies\, such as landfills\, which provide a sta
 ble and low-cost food source. This behavioural shift can have important co
 nsequences for other key life-history strategies\, including migration. In
  this talk\, I will present findings from my first PhD chapter on how Whit
 e Storks from Poland use landfills both at their natal sites and along the
 ir migratory flyway\, and how this adaptation influences their migratory d
