Inclusive Scientific Culture: Unlocking the Power of Diversity and Inclusion
The workshop "Inclusive Scientific Culture" aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to create a more inclusive and diverse scientific community. Through a combination of self-reflection, group work, and practical exercises, participants will gain a deep understanding of the importance of inclusivity in science, including the promotion of diversity and the creation of an inclusive environment.During the workshop, participants will learn how to recognize and analyze barriers to inclusivity in science, including discrimination, stereotypes, and a lack of diversity. They will also develop the ability to foster diversity in science by creating and implementing strategies to promote diversity and inclusion.In addition, participants will improve their communication skills by learning how to effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds. Participants will develop the ability to apply inclusivity strategies to create an inclusive environment in science, including the use of persuasion and building trust.
